Frequently Asked Questions
Got questions before reaching out? Good, that means you're taking this seriously. Here are the ones I get most often.

You found him. I'm Travis Stephenson, and I've been designing logos, websites, and brands right here on Hilton Head since the late 90s. I know this market, the businesses in it, and what it takes to stand out here.
-
Yes, and that matters more than people realize. A logo that looks great on a website but falls apart on a sign or a shirt isn't finished. I design everything with real-world application in mind: screens, print, apparel, vehicles, signage, and everything in between.
-
That's exactly what I do most. Small businesses are my bread and butter, restaurants, contractors, service businesses, startups, and solo operators who need everything to look like it came from the same place. I can take you from zero to a complete brand, or pick up wherever you are.
-
Most designers do one or the other. I do both, which means your logo, your site, your print materials, and your social presence all stay visually consistent. No handing off to three different vendors and hoping it holds together.
-
Usually with a conversation. We talk about who you're trying to reach, what you do, and how you want to be perceived. From there I can help figure out what you actually need, sometimes that's a full brand build, sometimes it's just a strong logo and a simple site to get started. I won't sell you more than you need.
-
Every project is a little different, but generally: we talk first, I get a feel for your goals and your budget, then I put together a proposal. For logos, I typically present two or three directions and refine from there. For websites, we start with structure and messaging before anything gets designed. I keep you in the loop throughout, no disappearing for weeks and surprising you at the end.
-
Nope. A good chunk of my work goes well beyond the Lowcountry. I've built brands for businesses across South Carolina, the Southeast, and nationally. If you can communicate over email and a phone call, location doesn't matter.
-
It depends on the scope, and I'd rather have that conversation than throw out a number that doesn't mean anything. Logos start at a few hundred dollars for simple marks and go up from there. Full brand builds and websites are quoted by project. Reach out and tell me what you're working on , I'll give you a straight answer.
